The optical interface is built around proven 850nm VCSEL technology, ensuring stable and cost‑effective performance over multimode fiber. A single MPO12 connector handles all eight fibers (four transmit, four receive).

Power consumption is kept at a maximum of 2.5W, which is competitive for a 100G module, helping to reduce thermal load in dense switch environments. The device operates from a single +3.3V supply and is electrically hot‑pluggable, allowing you to replace or install modules without powering down the host equipment. Case temperature range is 0°C to 70°C, fitting typical data center conditions. It is also RoHS compliant.
