It integrates 4 data lanes in each direction with 4×106Gb/s PAM4 data rate, each lane operating on 850nm wavelength. The 400G OSFP SR4 product is compliant with IEEE 802.3db 400GBASE-SR4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the CMIS 4.0.
The Macrochip MCR-6PS3CC-5H QSFP-DD optical transceiver is designed for use in 400-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 500m over Single-Mode Fiber. It converts 8-channel 53G PAM4 electrical data to 4-channel 106G PAM4 optical signals, each lane operating on 1310nm wavelength. The 400G QSFP-DD DR4 product is compliant with IEEE 802.3bs 400GBASE-DR4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the CMIS 4.0.
