Product Overview & Evolution

The OSFP optical transceiver series leverages the advanced OSFP form factor, which offers superior thermal management and higher power budgets compared to previous generations, enabling stable performance for next-generation high-speed optics. It includes two main tiers:

400G Series: Featuring versatile options like the SR4/SR8 for 100m multi-mode links, DR4/DR4+ for 500m-2km parallel single-mode reaches, and FR4 variants for efficient 2km duplex single-mode transmission.

800G Series: Doubling the capacity with modules such as the SR8 for 100m, DR8/DR8+ for 500m-2km, and the 2×FR4 for 2km duplex links, utilizing advanced modulation for maximum density.

 

Applications & Reliability

All modules are designed for robust operation within the standard commercial temperature range (0°C to 70°C). To ensure longevity, we recommend handling transceivers with care, keeping optical connectors clean and dust-free using appropriate tools, and monitoring operational temperature via built-in digital diagnostics for optimal system health.
