General Description
MCO-6PS4CC-5H is a transceiver with OSFP800 form factor that supports 800GBASE-DR8 / 2 x 400GBASE-DR4 / 8 x 100GBASE-DR optical interfaces complied with Ethernet Protocol. The host electrical interface has 8 lanes operating with PAM4 signaling at 53.125 GBaud allowing for the operation of 800 GbE / 2 x 400 GbE / 8 x 100GbE interfaces up to 500 m over parallel single mode fiber media (PSM) with 2 x MPO- 12 connectors.

Functional Description
MCO-6PS4CC-5H is 800G optical transceiver compliant to the OSFP800 form factor specification that supports 800GBASE-DR8 / 2 x 400GBASE-DR4 / 8 x 100GBASE-DR optical interfaces, each of these interfaces are based on 1310nm wavelength operating with PAM4 signaling at 53.125 GBaud (106.25 Gbps per lane) over parallel SMF cable. The optical interfaces support transmission up to 500 m of parallel single mode fiber media (PSM) with and may be accessed via 2 x MPO- 12 optical connectors. The management interface is compliant to CMIS 5.1. Figure 1 shows the functional block diagram.

Q2: How do I store unused DR8 optical transceiver?
A2: Keep them in the original anti‑static bag, inside a closed box away from moisture and direct sunlight. Ideal storage temperature is 0‑40°C. Always insert the dust plug into the MPO‑16 port. Do not stack heavy items on top. 800G modules have sensitive optical arrays – keep them clean and static‑protected.
